Meryl Streep's Face After That Oscars Gaffe Should Win All The Awards

President Donald Trump’s opinion of Meryl Streep aside, there’s nothing “over-rated” about this.


The 89th annual Academy Awards had one of the craziest moments in Oscars history on Sunday when “La La Land” was mistakenly announced as the Best Picture winner over “Moonlight.” (Whaaat?!)


The error was eventually corrected, but the world still went nuts. The cast of “La La Land” tried to take it in stride, twist-ending expert M. Night Shyamalan took all the credit, and some celebs even compared the results to the 2016 election, but the award for Best Reaction goes to the legendary, “over-rated” Streep.

There are so many emotions in such a short amount of time.


 






She’s shocked. She’s confused. She’s wondering if she left the stove on. She’s contemplating the meaning of life. She’s Meryl Streep.






That’s how you get 20 Oscar nominations, people.


Host Jimmy Kimmel dedicated a good portion of his opening monologue to Streep, joking that the actress was “mediocre” before inspiring the audience to give her a standing ovation.


It looks like that ovation needs an encore. Meryl Streep won the Oscars.
