If you’re eagerly awaiting a “Hannah Montana” spinoff, you probably shouldn’t hold your breath.
In an interview with Zach Sang, Cyrus revealed that Disney has, in fact, approached her about rebooting the series that made her famous.
“Dude, I had to go to Disney the other day to promote, and you know that was the first thing they said,” Cyrus told Sang.
Unfortunately for Disney (and for “Hannah Montana” fans everywhere), Cyrus has one big problem with returning to Disney Channel.
“It’s a lot of time to be [spending] with my Dad,” Cyrus said.
”That was really hard, every day, from like 11 to 18,” Cyrus added. “I didn’t get a school escape like most people.”
Ouch. Sorry, Billy Ray.
While the Stewart fam may not be returning to the small screen, at least Disney Channel fans can fill their early 2000s TV void with Raven-Symoné’s “That’s So Raven” reboot. Can we get an “Oh, snap?”
