TV Chef Sandra Lee Confirms That She Pretty Much Can’t Stand Paul Ryan

This is as satisfying as a semi-homemade vanilla milkshake spiked with berry vodka at cocktail time.

Last week there was a tasty little rumor that Food Network star Sandra Lee was pretty frosty toward house speaker Paul Ryan on “Fox & Friends.” Apparently while Lee was prepping for a cooking demo during a commercial, hosts of the show brought the Wisconsin Republican over to the TV host’s table and tried to get the two to play nice. But Lee wasn’t having it.

Instead Lee, the longtime partner of Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, told Ryan, “I need you to go away.”

And on Friday Lee admitted to Page Six that she thinks Ryan is the worst:

“At first what occurred to me is that we are both from Wisconsin. And I realized he is the one thing from Wisconsin that I cannot tolerate or stomach. I just do not stand for anything he stands for. I was so angry I was shaking, and I never had that experience before in my life or on any show. I love ‘Fox & Friends.’ That was the only time that happened to me. I do not get angry for too long. He left the set, and I was back to Sandra Lee.”

Lee also told the outlet:

“Just because I chose not to state my opinion does not mean I do not have one.”

“When it comes to health care or childhood hunger issues, I am not going to be quiet, tolerant or silent about my experiences or my convictions.”

There’s nothing semi-homemade about that burn.
